Hollywood attracts it’s share of street preachers. This one has decided to boil is message down to it’s most basic. No bible references, just “Believe Jesus”. Repeat.

I asked him to provide some sort of proof. He dismissed me within 2 minutes as an unbeliever, and not worth his time. I guess in today’s fast paced society, you sell to who’s buying.

I’m not buying.

According to Encyclopedia Dramatica:

I happened to run into the entire class of 40 bible-thumping nit-wits on Hollywood Blvd. last week. I happily was passed from student to student as they attempted to convince me that their path was the correct one to choose. For nearly 2 hours, I disputed the wacky claims, answered questions about transitional fossils, big bang theory, evolution and so on.

Their strongest points were the same as always. Pascal’s Wager etc. It seems “The Way of The Master” is to scam people for classes, books and tracts, but provides no real information.

The weakest points had to be the “Good Person Test“. Basically, the Con leads the mark to a specific conclusion by asking the following questions.

1. “Do You Think You’re a Good Person?”

2. “Have you ever told a lie?”

3. “Have you ever taken anything that did not belong to you?”

4. “Have you ever looked at another person with lust or desire?”

5. “Have you ever been angry with another person?”

6. “Have you ever taken God’s name in vain?”

7. “What happens when you die?”

Of course, these questions are designed to provide the opportunity to tell the mark they are a sinner and will burn in hell, accompanied with a tract or ticket to hell.  This time, however, the eternally clueless were actually paying people to take the test. $1.00 for a correct answer. $20 if you can prove you are a good person. I made $2.00 right off the bat, however to get the $20.00 you have to prove to them you are good by god’s law. The 10 commandments. No twenty for me, as I used their lord’s name in vain during the test and would not ask for forgiveness.

As none of the students could prove god exists, they failed my test.
