I created this image in memorial of the 47 shipmates lost on board the USS Iowa BB-61 Turret 2 explosion. Next month is the 20th anniversary of that terrible day. April 19th, 1989.
I served during the time, and it made a lasting impact on me.

my name is craig bellamy i was on the ship when turret to explode i always think about my shipmates its in my heart for life it could have been me . God Bless all my shipmates i hope you are getting help from the va .
